Kayak Tour in Xochimilco
At Acalli Kayak Club, we are new to ecotourism in Xochimilco, offering unforgettable experiences through our kayak tours. Embark on a 4-hour adventure that will take you through the history-rich and naturally beautiful canals of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Axolotl Sanctuary, a fascinating place dedicated to the preservation of the axolotl, a unique and endemic species of Xochimilco. You’ll also explore a Demonstrative Chinampa, an ancient pre-Hispanic agricultural system still in use today. Additionally, you’ll enjoy the serenity of the Laguna del Toro, the Canal de los Sabinos, the Canal Toltenco, and the Old National Canal, all while being surrounded by the region’s native flora and fauna. To complement this experience, you’ll enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner by the shores of Laguna del Toro.
Our kayaks are equipped with a state-of-the-art anti-capsize system to ensure your safety. No prior experience is required; just bring your enthusiasm for exploring and enjoying.
