Enjoy a private gastronomic experience for medium-sized groups inside Chinampa Cueyahcān, located within the Laguna del Toro Ecological Reserve in Xochimilco.

This experience is designed for family gatherings, celebrations, social events, and groups looking to enjoy a natural and exclusive environment surrounded by ecological canals, ahuehuete trees, and landscapes characteristic of Xochimilco’s chinampa ecosystem.

Access to the chinampa is provided by crossing Laguna del Toro aboard a private trajinera or canoe, depending on daily operational availability.

The experience includes exclusive use of the chinampa and a traditional meal prepared on-site with different regional meat combinations.

Cecina from Yecapixtla is one of the most representative gastronomic products of central Mexico and remains an important part of contemporary Mexican culinary culture.

Originating from the state of Morelos, Yecapixtla-style cecina is recognized for its traditional preparation, distinctive flavor, and its presence in family gatherings, celebrations, and regional culinary experiences throughout Mexico.

The experience takes place in a landscape very different from traditional Xochimilco, within an ecological area characterized by the tranquility of Laguna del Toro, its ahuehuete tree corridors, and its natural scenery away from the more crowded tourist zones.

Meeting Time

Meeting point at Pilares San Marcos, Ampliación San Marcos Norte, Xochimilco.

We recommend arriving on time to park your vehicle along the public street in front of the meeting point, with support from local neighbors who help supervise the area.

Private parking is also available one block away from the meeting point for an additional fee of $100 MXN per vehicle.

From here, we will walk together to the dock.

Arrival at the Dock

Arrival at the dock and boarding of a private trajinera or canoe, depending on operational availability.

Before departure, you will receive basic safety and navigation instructions.

We will then cross Laguna del Toro toward Chinampa Cueyahcān.

9:30 am :

Start of the Experience

Arrival at Chinampa Cueyahcān and beginning of the private experience.

Departure from the Chinampa

Departure from Chinampa Cueyahcān and return transfer across Laguna del Toro back to the dock.
